
Dr Suhana Ahmed (Bsc, MRCPsych) is a consultant Psychiatrist – dual trained (Old Age & General Adult). Suhana is currently working in Old Age inpatient setting. She is heavily involved with Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych); an executive member London division and Old Age Faculty and Startwell Lead. She is interested in training, flexible working and supporting leadership and career progression in working parents. Suhana is passionate about the impact of and stigma surrounding postnatal depression. She has been RCPsych Sustainability Scholar, organised and spoken at events including the London Division Annual Conference and co-authored published papers. Suhana recently contributed to their weekly podcast series about her experiences as a frontline worker and mother during COVID. She is mummy to a 7 year old boy with 2 cats and lives with her husband in Surrey.
