Rachael Stokes


Rachael Stokes, Director of Programmes at The Diana Award

Rachael is the Director of Programmes at The Diana Award and has worked in the social sector for more than twenty years. She is also a mum to Ella (7) and Tess (4).


Rachael has worked for a variety of international and UK organisations during her career, including UNICEF UK, VSO International, Victim Support and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). She has served as a trustee on the boards of Global Justice Now (formerly the World Development Movement) and Citizens Advice Wandsworth, as well as an Advisor to the Gender and Development Network (GADN).


In 2014 she was elected as a local councillor in her home ward of Earlsfield (London Borough of Wandsworth) where she served for a term, including as Chair of the Wandsworth Labour Group.


Rachael recently qualified as a coach and in addition to mentoring with Leaders Plus is also a mentor with the Jack Petchey Foundation.”
