Liz is responsible for Mastercard Send in the Products & Engineering division at Mastercard. In this role Liz drives growth of the Send business globally.
Liz has more than 20 years’ experience in designing central clearing, settlement systems and bank payments systems, globally.
Liz joined Mastercard in 2018 from consulting, most recently at McKinsey & Company, where she was an expert associate partner in its global payments practice, focused on strategy, M&A and digital change in payments and previously within the payments practice at KPMG.
She lives in London with her husband and two children.
What is the best advice you’d like to share when it comes to combining a senior leadership career with raising young children?
Reset your own expectations - life is a series of trade-offs, so examine your priorities in life and figure out where ‘good enough’ rather than ‘perfect’ will be the best outcome. Then delegate, automate and set up consistent routines that create stability for your family. Create amazing memories, but know that although you won’t always make it to every school play, your family will definitely remember the time you spent well with them.
