What is the best advice you’d like to share when it comes to combining a senior leadership career with raising young children?

Don’t shy away from conversations at home and in the workplace about the paid and unpaid work is takes to support a family.  Much of the labour of raising a family remains hidden, and still disproportionately falls on the shoulders of women. Bring it out into the open; instigate conversations and agree with your partner who will do what. Set parameters in the workplace and don’t apologise for them. Revisit your decisions regularly to ensure they are working for everyone.
