Hannah Pater is Head of Business Development and Partnerships at the RSA (Royal Society of Arts, manufactures and commerce). An ambassador for collaborative working, she ensures that partners can work effectively with the RSA to make positive societal change. She currently leads a team that develop and design the RSA’s strategic programmes of work, bringing together funding partners, multidisciplinary teams and the unique assets of the RSA to make impact.
Hannah’s experience and skills were built across the private, public and third sector. Her account management and business development skills were honed in leading global advertising agencies from graduate to director level, working with global brands and culminating in leading the learning and development function at AMVBBDO. A career move to teaching English in secondary schools allowed for the deep learning of pedagogy and the understanding the intricacies of a public sector system. Hannah’s career evolved further when she joined the charity sector, developing large programmes for not-for-profit organisations that are attractive to funders and are designed in a human-centred way.
Hannah lives in London with her husband and young son. She is a passionate believer in being a full-time leader in ‘part-time’ hours.
