Catherine Muge is Director of Funding at Comic Relief, and prior to this was Director of Partnership and Programme Intelligence at UNICEF UK.
She holds an MSc in Public Health, and has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years.
She lives in Cambridge with her partner, a clinical academic, and has two children, aged 7 and 9.
Her key piece of advice to parents progressing their careers is that, if you are co-parenting, try to find the time to have regular, open and honest conversations between you about how the balance of career and parenting is working and feeling for each of you, and how you both want to share the work involved in raising children.
