
Kirstie Brewer is a BBC News journalist who specialises in social affairs, inequality and telling the stories of women. Her work reaches millions across the BBC News website and social media.
Kirstie is passionate about building a more diverse and representative media and in 2017 co-founded The Second Source, an alternative professional network for women and non-binary journalists.
After having her son in 2018 she set up NIBs and Bibs, a Facebook group for people juggling journalism with children.
She lives in South East London with her son and partner.
